The queer-themed movie That’s Not Us is nearly at the finish line. The improvised romantic comedy is in the can, but still needs a bit of help with post-production funding to get it finished. It’s now launched a Seed And Spark campaign to help cover the costs, with just a few days left to hit its target.
The film follows three couple – one lesbian, one straight and one gay – who arrive ‘on Fire Island to spend a September beach weekend together. As soon as they get off the ferry, they are in a different world: a place where wagons and bikes are the only form of transportation, and the local population has dwindled down to the last few trying extend those final days of summer.
